    Tap the players who fit. Each hit adds a point to the round's pot.

    Hit a mine and you lose that round's points. Bank whenever you like to keep them.

    Find all 12 for a perfect round and a +3 bonus. Share your 20 squares.

Rules and details

Football Minesweeper turns a football quiz into a minesweeper board made of players. Every round has one clue and sixteen portrait cards. Twelve players fit the clue and four are mines. The clues range from a club's season and the matchday squad of a famous final to where a player was born or which World Cup he scored in.

Each correct tap adds a point to the round's pot. Stepping on a mine ends the round and wipes that pot, so the real decision is when to bank. Finding all twelve is a perfect round worth fifteen points. A full day is twenty rounds that get harder as you go, for a maximum of three hundred points.

A new board arrives every day at midnight Argentina time. Without an account you play the previous day's board and see every answer after each round; signed-in players get today's board, one ranked run on the daily leaderboard and their streak. At the end you get a grid of twenty coloured squares to share with friends.
