How to play

Each board has 16 footballers hiding 4 groups of 4. Pick 4 players that share a link and press Submit.

A right group locks in. A wrong guess costs a mistake, and if three of your four are right you are told “One away…”. Four mistakes end the board. A four you already tried costs nothing.

Everyone gets the same board each day. The leaderboard ranks groups found first, then fewest mistakes, then time. Share your grid when you finish, and replay past boards whenever you like.

With a friend, play a 1v1 over 5 boards. You take turns, one try per turn, hit or miss. When three groups are out, the player on turn names the last link from 4 options for a point. No coins or RP are at stake.
Rules and details
Football Connections is a grouping game about footballers. Every board shows 16 players hiding four groups of four, and each group shares one link. Your job is to find all four groups before you run out of mistakes.
Pick four players and press Submit. If they share a link, the group locks in. A wrong guess costs a mistake, and if three of your four are right you are told “One away…”. Four mistakes end the board, while a four you already tried costs nothing. Watch for traps: some players seem to fit more than one group.
